  1. What is your name, and what do you do at Stanford?
    Melanie C. Biton, II (the suffix II, means my mom and I share the same name). I work as a Customer Experience Specialist (CES)/Web project coordinator for Stanford Web Services (SWS).
  2. What is your Filipino-American connection? 
    I was born in Cebu and came to the States when I was 3. My dad is from Cebu and my mom is from Nueva Vizcaya. 
  3. What do you like about working at Stanford?
    I like the people and the work that we do. We get information across to all users and are committed to doing the right thing.
  4. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
    During my spare time, I indulge in music, DJ, read, crochet, spend time with family and friends, long walks and playtime with my pocket bully, Bulan (Ilocano word for Moon), going to the beach, traveling and trying to keep up with the Golden State Warriors. #Dubnation
  5. Share a Fil-Am tip with FACS: 
    Former Golden State Warriors guard and Bay Area native, Raymond Anthony Townsend would become the first player in the NBA with Filipino heritage.
