Gabriel “Gabby” Baltazar

Known as “Gabby” to his friends and colleagues, Gabriel Baltazar is the MCP Lock Shop and Access Administrator. He is in charge of security for R&DE and is the person who holds the keys to the kingdom – literally!

Gabby started his career at Stanford University in February 2000. He has worked in various roles, all of which have been with R&DE. His talent and work ethic helped him advance to his current position. Although he acquired most of his knowledge on his own, he is also quick to credit his mentor, Romy Brilliantes. Under Romy’s tutelage, Gabby has developed intangible skills which cannot be taught in procedures or policies.

Born American, Gabby immigrated to the United States as an adult. He is a “man of strong faith”, who is very thankful for everything that he has. He is an active participant in his church group, both as lead singer and drummer.

Asked what he feels is his most important contribution, Gabby states that “the Key to Success”, is keeping all students and staff safe in their home away from home”.
