The annual Stanford Asian American Awards was held last Thursday, May 9, 2024. The awards ceremony aims to bring the Stanford community together in recognizing the achievements, services and dedication of the Asian American faculty, alumni, staff and students.

Congrats, Eunice Delumen!

This year, one of the recipients of the Staff Award is our very own Eunice Delumen! Together with her family and friends from the Filipino American Community at Stanford (FACS), we celebrated her achievements as the current Operations and Communication Manager at the School of Medicine’s Pediatric Department and Editor-in-chief of the FACS TGIF Newsletter. In these roles, she manages the daily operations and communications needs of the department; and showcases the diversity and talents of the Stanford faculty and staff.

Eunice’s family immigrated to the US when she was only 15 years old. With her “can do” attitude, she navigated through the challenges of a teenager starting anew in a different country. She had to work three jobs to get through Los Angeles City College, and then graduated from UC Berkeley.

A bright, resilient, hardworking and diligent person, Eunice is always ready to help whenever needed.

Congratulations, Eunice! Your FACS family is very proud of you!
